Welcome to the David Crockett High School Class of 1983. We started this community so you can meet and converse with other Crockett High classmates. We also provide you with some interesting, helpful articles and information, and we¹re giving you a chance to share your thoughts and opinions with this collection of individuals. So take a good look around and enjoy your community. From time to time, its possible we¹ll have surveys and online discussions for you to participate in. Feel free to download anything you find especially interesting, as long as it's for non-commercial, personal use.

More formal forum categories will be added soon. Each classmate can register and post messages and info about themselves at will. You can easily update your email address, website (if available) or other info as required. You own email address or even a computer is not required. The forum is accessible from any computer that is internet capable (public library, work, etc..). Please register using your maiden/given name used while you attended Crockett High. Classmates will generally not recognize you behind an alias or married name. After Registering you will be allowed access to the forums. They will not be accesible to the general public for privacy reasons (don't we already get enough spam?). You will have options later to use your current name if you have married or changed it in your signature (tag line). Administrators will be the only people that have access to your email address if you choose to utilize the hide feature in the profile. You will need to make sure in your profile that you either include your email address and check the notification box or check back regularly to see if the board has a message for you. The built in messaging will work for people that do not have computers as it will store it on the system and notify them at thier next logon to the forum. The only thing you need to do is register. Oh, and just case you wonder, it's free.
I stole these directions from The Home Theater Forums website and
figure if it's good enough for the 41,182 people registered there we could cope
with it.

Thanks for choosing the Class of '83 Alumni Forum as one of your internet resources.
The forum was founded because if it had not been for running into an old classmate at the store in mid '03 I would not have tried to reconnect with older classmates. After, all, they'll find me when the reunion comes up right? Wrong. Even though I was in the book and easily reachable I was not contacted about the 10 year reunion at Schultz's. I searched the web and registered with several reunion sites. Sadly every one required a fee to even see the others email addresses or contact them via the board. At this years 2003 Reunion we have gathered a handful of email addresses and a small core of fellow classmates interest to help kick this forum off. We do need several Moderators to help keep things in focus. Use the email link below if you are interested. My desire is that this will help facilitate a new connection between classmates via the built-in posting system.- Ken Humphrey 10/26/03
